WONDERFUL DAYS IN DENMARK

I guess it sounds like bragging, but I´m so proud of this family. My family. We had some wonderful days in Denmark and Legoland.

NEW DRESS IN MY SHOP

I got a new dress in my shop for a girl that is one year. This dress has a lot work on it, and is a bit more expensive than the others. Sorry about that! I was tempted to save it for Alma, but I guess I have the time to make a new one for her. Hope you like it.

MY GARDEN & FLOWER-SEEDS

My garden right now. I love my garden and I know I take a lot of flower-pictures, but I can´t help it. It´s too beautiful to just walk by!

Each summer and autum i collect seeds, mostley from withered flowers that I come by. But sometimes I´m so lucky to get seeds from Pia, one of my good friends. I love that!
So thats why I came up with this idea; why not trade seeds over the net. There must be more of you out there that love to see your garden grow. Let me know if you are interested and I will try to arrange a way to trade. I´m looking forward to hear from you! *Jeanette*

PROTOTYPE

I´m trying out some new items for the shop. This litle vest is for Alma and is from 1 - 1 1/2 years. It can be used on both sides and is a mix of old and new fabrics. Should I make some more, what do you think? * Jeanette *

PRETENDING...

..I am a photographer. Today I´ve had a photosession right here in my livingroom with my "barsel-gruppe" (group of mom with babies that are born in the same periode). We count 8 babies and 8 moms so it´s been a busy day. I will show you some of the photos on my shop when it´s done (soon). Here´s a test-photo of Alma, she knew just what to do :)

PIGS EARS

The norwegian name for this flower is pigs ears, must be because of the leaves. Funny name for a nice plant. I love the bright pink.

HONEY CUPCAKE

100 g butter

2 eggs

1 1/2 dl sugar

3 dl flour

1 ts baking powder

1 ts vanilla sugar

3 tablespoons honey

cinnamon and cardamom

In oven for 12 min, 225 C

I mixed this recepie the other day and theese cupcakes are so moist and good. The purple sugar is  "homemade", I mixed red and blue food color and stired it together with sugar. Love the colored sugar together with violets.

SNEAK PEEK

One of the prints I plan to sell in my little webshop.  I´m still working on it and I´m looking forward to see the illustrations on paper.

WE HAVE A LITTLE THIEF..

..in our family. She steals hearts and blankets.

The other day one of the retro-blankets for my webshop was done and I hanged it over Almas bed. While I was working on some of the dresses I could hear her "talk" and laugh, such a happy baby! When I went over to watch her, she had taken the blanket and was so pleased. My little sweetheart. So one less blanket in my shop. Alma bought it with her smiles.

CIRKUS IN TOWN

TODAY..

...Mathea went to my sisters house, they´re gonne have a girls weekend. My sister 33 1/2, Helena 5 and Mathea 5 1/2. I had butterflies in my stomach because I know all the fun she will have, I think she had some too. This morning she asked me who decided that we could not burp at the table, was it Jesus....or was it...hmm...Jesus, mom? I tried not to laugh.

My man is at the stadion watching fotball. Heia Odd. I could hear them roar while I was out walking up and down our driveway, getting Alma to sleep. It´s really windy outside and flowers from the morellotree is blowing in my hair. The smell of spring. Life is good.

I bought theese two wonders at the fleamarket, old schoolchairs. They were actually not for sale but set out for seating. I think they will be perfect behind the counter when my store is done.

I HAVE A PLAN..

...to make a webshop. This is what my livingroom looks like for the moment. I hope the shop is ready before May is over. And I hope you´ll like it, it´s a bit scary.

The morello-tree (thank you Torill) is just fantastic! I´m so happy that we got this old tree in our garden.

1. May is labourday here in Norway, and we have a new carpet :) This family will relax and hopefully enjoy the sun on the porch.

EYECANDY

..soon to be. We are renovating the barn and it takes time, but we are soon there, I mean we are soon aloud to start. We have almost used a hole year in paperwork to get this done, but it´s worth it. So this summer we hope to swing the hammer!  The henhous will be turned into a small store where I can sell my creations and hopefully others too. I´m thinking of making a simple webshop, we´ll see. The stall will be turned into my office where I will have a photostudio, my sewing machine and fabrics, all of my paper and artwork and so on....I cant wait! It´s all done decorated in my head and it looks lovely Ü

Alma in her new body from Me & I.  As you can see she loves it :)  The quality and the finish is really nice, and it suprised me that the clothes looks even better in real life than on the pictures from the web.

I had to show you some pictures from sweet Alma´s baptism. It´s a wonder how only a few spring flowers can make a room inviting. We had a wonderful day with our family.

NICE NEIGHBOURS

The other day the doorbell rang, it was one of my neighbours. She wondered if we wanted some of her old furniture, now that she was moving to a smaller place. How lucky am I to have neighbours like that. Really LUCKY! Here are two lovely chairs, the rest is stored. It´s funny how happy a bunch of old furniture can make me :)
