This summers craft-project has been a baby-blanket for my cousines sweet baby, Emmy.
I´ve used my favorite yarn, Cotton Eco from Schachenmayer. It´s so soft and I love the colors.
The blanket measures ca 1m x 1m and is really easy to make, you can watch TV at the same time! So there is a lot of "Brothers & Sisters" and "Midsummer Mysteries" in this one Ü

I LOVE this shop, FinnishDesignShop! I can spend hours just browsing. Looking at nice (and sometimes way to expensive) items, reading about the designers and now and then actually do some shopping. But I guess you wonder why "lucky me". I belive in destiny, and it has happen to me again. But this time with two chairs (last time was my husband:)). I was browsing the shop when I came across the chair Mademoiselle. And I fell in love! I´ve seen simular chairs, but this one was mine!!
After some more looking I went to another favorite site finn.no, a marketplace online. I searched for chairs and in the first ad two old chairs looking like Mademoiselle turned up (really cheap). I did´nt mind if it was not the real Mademoiselle chair, I was so happy that my heart raced and I bought them in a second.
The lady who sold them lives far away from me, but my sister-in-law parents lives nearby and were so sweet to pick them up for me. Thank you!!
Two days ago I finally got one of the chairs home, and guess what? They are original with the stamp and label underneath. So now you see why I´m so lucky and so so happy....tralalalala :)
I´ll show you a picture soon, but right now I have to do some cleaning after Matheas birthdayparties. Thank you for all the greetings!

...make an easy and sweet dress.
Buy a cheap t-shirt (50 kr at H&M) and cut it of right under the arms. You do not need the curious baby, but it´s recomended :)
You need some fabric. Cut two pieces, both ca 30 cm high. The first piece should be about 10 cm wider than the t-shirt. The second piece 15-20 cm wider than the first piece.
All you now have to do is to make the wrinkels even and sew.
Voilà! You have a dress.

Only without the cakes. I bought these wonderful cups early this summer from CupcakeSocial. I´m really looking forward to use them!
Well, so I´m back. Back to the ordinary days, but I like that. I like my ordinary life.
Mathea has left kindergarden and is starting school in a few days, she´s growing so fast. The other day she came so exited, she just discovered that one of her teeth was loos. I almost started to cry because it reminded me of how big she getting.
This summer has been so nice and lazy. Trips to the cabin, summerparks and Oslo. Sweet visits from friends and family. Swimming in the lake. And redecorating the house. We bought a new sofa (comming in 8 weeks), so we had to redecorate the whole house....he he he...that is so typical me. Well, it´s mostley the same old stuff, but put together in a new way. Love that! I´ll show you when it´s all done.
Oh...and I had an wanted-ad in the paper. I´ll show you my finds later. I recomend it, it´s a lot of fun and you meet the nicest people.
Thank you everyone for the wonderful comments and visits on my summer-slow blog! You are all so nice :) Love Jeanette
